Glenalmond Choral Day

Glenalmond Choral Day

A terrific evensong service

Singers from our Chapel Choir and F6 Training Choir joined singers from Ardvreck, Belhaven, Craigclowan and Mowden Hall as well as Glenalmond Chapel Choir on Sunday 14th in a Choral Service. We rehearsed together during the day and the children also enjoyed some fun activities in the afternoon.

We were made very welcome, as always, and the massed choir of 200 singers made a lovely sound. The service, preceded by a performance by the Glenalmond Pipes and Drums, was attended by many parents. It was lovely to see old Cargundians Sophie, Scarlett and Sandy in the Glenalmond choir, Scarlett and Charlie in the Pipe Band, as well as Alexander, who played the organ for the service. Well done to James, whose reading of Martin Luther King Jr’s ‘I have a dream’ speech was a real highlight of the service.
