U10 Boys beat Loretto

A try fest!

Won 7 tries to 5

After two days of training on frozen pitches with no contact, the boys were eager to get back into tackling with a match against Loretto. Under very muddy conditions, which even made me lose balance on occasion, I was very pleased with how the boys played as a team and they were great at spreading the ball wide and getting it down the line. They were dominant in attack and scored quite a few tries with ease. I was also pleased with the amount of strong tackles that were put in. Unfortunately, as we mainly train under U11 rules, the boys found it hard not to form rucks once a tackle had been completed, this created a little confusion, which the opposition took advantage of in the second half to score a few easy tries. Overall, a very good performance.

Well done, boys!
