Cargilfield Book Festival goes Digital!

A wonderful day of books!

What a fantastic morning of books, storytelling and so many other activities all focused on books! It was our 3rd Book Festival and despite not being in school this year it was wonderful to see so many brilliant costumes from the children and staff and as well as welcoming a number of authors and storytellers for live sessions, we also dipped in to various recordings from the Hay Festival which has also gone digital this year!

The day was rounded off with the children able to tune in to lots of videos from the teachers who were reading their favourite children’s book in some very strange places!

So much fun and a big thank you to Mrs Lyell for all her hard work pulling it all together.
