The U11 boys enjoyed a competitive and energetic game of rugby against our pals from Merchiston this afternoon. We divided the afternoon into 4 quarters so we could coach the boys as we went, which allowed lots of feedback and swapping around of players.
There were lots of skills on show and I was particularly impressed with the offloading out of the tackle. Everybody played well when they had the chance, with all boys making a great contribution to the final score of 13 tries to 12 in our favour. A few missed tackles and we need to improve our overall shape but, most importantly, everyone seemed to be having fun. Well played, boys.
