P3 have been learning about Roman toys by looking at Roman artefacts of toys used in Ancient Rome by children who lived there. Normally we would take a trip to the National Museum of Scotland where we do a workshop looking at Roman artefacts and learning all about them! This year we had to improvise and brought the artefacts to the classroom as photos and discussed them in groups. We talked about what the toys were, what they are made of and what we can learn about the Romans from looking at these types of artefacts.
