U11C Hockey beat Loretto

Some excellent goals!

A lively start from the Under 11C boys who quickly grew accustomed to a new tern and a new sport, showing their skills and teamwork. Positioning was one of the key messages today and the boys listened carefully to coaching and worked hard to maintain their positional discipline. There was a good shape and, as they started to look up and find each other with passes, they took control of the game. Max was brave and overcome a couple of knocks early in the game while Theo, Edward and Jamie were strong runners from midfield. Well done to Wolfie for captaining the team and to Leo and Honour for some tenacious tackling. While they will face stronger opposition as the term goes on this was a very encouraging start to the season.
