Last Thursday, the Upper School took part in their STEM day. The day began with a talk from Henry Collin, Technical Director at Ecus, an environmental consultancy firm, before the children split off into their groups to design a house which could withstand flooding. They had lots to consider, including the environmental impact, the cost, and the properties of the materials. At the end of the day, the children presented their designs to each other. Well done to all of the children for their creative designs, and particularly well done to Bruce for winning the competition.
