Last weekend, a group of Form 7 and 8 pupils spent the weekend enjoying the fabulous weather whilst completing their NNAS bronze navigator award. Over the weekend, they developed the skills to orientate the map using ground features and a compass, estimate distance using both timing and pacing, and recognise contour features, alongside learning about the Scottish Outdoor Access Code, route planning and emergency procedures. Congratulations to all of them, having passed their practical assessment yesterday!
