Form 5 visited the Botanics for "The Life of Plants" workshop on Monday. They learned all about the different parts of the plant & their function, as well as pollination. There was some fun drama involved and dressing up as a bee.The second half of the workshop was outside. Each child was given a hand lens to explore plants in much closer detail. Then they put on different coloured glasses to show them what colours the different insects saw when they saw a plant. It was a beautiful day to explore the Botanic Gardens too.
