P1 headed into the woods at school to learn how to build a fire outdoors properly and safely. The children had lots of great suggestions and searched high and low for exactly the right type of stick to make the perfect fire! We had super flames and managed to toast marshmallows to make smores before learning how to put the fire out safely and why it is important to do this each time!
