Well done to our team who competed in their very first SSSA Dual Ski Slalom Qualifiers at Hillend on Wednesday. The sun was shining, and the team was eager to get started.The event followed a relay race format, with the team going head-to-head against other schools in their age group. Cargilfield kicked off their races against Blackhall Primary, with Johnny confidently leading the team, followed by Allegra, Benji, and Georgia. Their solid teamwork earned them their first win! This momentum continued with victories against Cramond Primary, George Watson’s, and Heriot’s B team.Despite narrow losses to the ESMS A and Heriot’s A teams, the Cargilfield squad performed exceptionally well. They rotated their third skier with Charlie, showing great adaptability throughout the event. The team finished 3rd in their pool, enjoying a fantastic morning representing the school.
