Following on from our presentations on food and farming last week Mrs Nimmo, Gigi's mum, kindly came in and made pomegranate juice with P3B in our new science and technology hub. We learnt how people used to eat pomegranate seeds by spiking them with a needle, rather dangerous we thought! Next, we learnt how to remove the seeds from the skin and then put these into the juicer, switched it on and seconds later we had made our own pomegranate juice. We blind tasted this against shop bought juice and all agreed ours was the best! Thank you, Mrs Nimmo!
