Second Last Game of the Season – Belhaven at Home!

The team was in high spirits and eager for a strong performance. They started off brilliantly, showcasing some excellent passing and movement, working their magic to feed the ball into the shooting circle. Alice and Lottie combined superbly, scoring an impressive eight goals in the opening phase.

The central court players—Emily B, Emily M, Freya, Olivia, and Zinnia—were on fire, demonstrating great awareness and movement into space. Despite their strong play, Belhaven’s tight marking led to one of our first held-ball moments, limiting passing options and forcing a turnover.

Athena excelled in GD, showing incredible agility as she leapt for multiple interceptions, successfully winning back possession. Ceci played a crucial role in defense, expertly blocking the Belhaven GS and holding her position to prevent closer shots at the net. Freya also stepped in at GD and C, displaying her sharp intercepting skills, quick reactions, and determination to regain control of the ball.

It was a fantastic team effort, with the girls demonstrating everything they’ve learned throughout the season. Well done on a great performance!
