An impressive first match for a skilful C team who were made up entirely of U12 players showing a lot of potential within Cargilfield netball over the next few years.

The Cargilfield team were regularly first to the ball and looked to move the ball quickly up court, showing excellent team work and positional discipline.

The shooting of Miranda Reid and Lexie Deans was impressive and meant that our hold on possession was translated into points.

Savannah White was a real live-wire at centre and set a great example for being all over the court to support the other players.

It was an impressive team performance and I was proud to be given the opportunity to manage the team this afternoon.

What a shame I didn’t manage a team photo at the end…I will try harder!
