A re-vamped B team took on a team from Strathallan today up in Forgandenny. It was generally an even game, with both sides playing some good hockey and improving as the game went on. Leonardo was our key man up front with a desire to score giving him real determination in the D. He scored a series of great goals, sometimes hurling himself to the ground in order to find the angle needed to score. Senuka dribbled well in the midfield and linked up well with his team mates. James M had a super game, looking for intelligent passes and showing good stick skills. Matthew was a credit to his team, tackling well and making some great passes. Maxi led the team with lots of verve and speed, setting up a couple of good goals from powerful runs down the wing. Sasha used his pace and fitness to good effect, constantly running up and down the wing to offer passes and to link up with his team mates. Leo and Honour were solid in defence making some timely tackles and communicating well. Jamie stunned everyone with some unbelievable saves at the end of the game when he faced three Strath boys and he leapt and dove around the goal to keep them all out! Altogether, a great team performance, well played boys.
