The U9 girls thoroughly enjoyed their first away game today on a very windy but warm pitch at Hallhill Dunbar. They represented Cargilfield very well and had lots of fun playing with their friends from Fettes and Belhaven. Our top goal scorers were Livia, Alexandra, Alice and Florence but it was very much a team effort. We also defended well conceding only 3 goals in 8 matches. We won 7 out of 8 matches and were the overall winner of the triangular. Well done to all! Looking forward we need to ensure there are never more than2 girls on the ball at one time and we must learn to avoid the ball with our feet!
