On Wednesday, our U11B rugby team put in a fantastic performance to win 19-8 against Belhaven. HUGE! The match was intense, with our team showing great skill and determination to come out on top with some fantastic individual and team efforts.

From the start, Jamie and Teddy stood out with their powerful runs, breaking through Belhaven’s defense time and again. Teddy was unstoppable, scoring seven brilliant tries, and Jamie added another four, both showcasing their speed and strength with the ball in hand. Our defense, led by Louis, William, and Raffi, was equally impressive. Louis made several key tackles, preventing Belhaven from building momentum, while William and Raffi put in tireless efforts to cover the field and stop multiple attacking plays. Their teamwork was crucial in keeping Belhaven to only 8 tries.

In the midfield, Charlie and Benji played important roles in keeping the team’s shape. Aaron showed excellent positioning, always being in the right place to support his teammates, while Benji’s passing and decision-making helped to keep the ball moving quickly across the pitch. Ensay and Charlie were key in maintaining pressure on Belhaven’s forwards, winning important turnovers and working hard in the rucks. Jack, meanwhile, had a great game as well, reading the play excellently and using his speed to chase down loose balls and support our attack.

Overall, it was a complete team effort with standout individual performances. The boys should be very proud of their win, and we look forward to more successes like this in the future! Well done, U11B!
