Cargilfield's second game of the season was a highly anticipated match against Belhaven. We knew it would be a tough encounter, but we were prepared and up for the challenge. With a solid game plan in place, we started strong, though Belhaven’s defence proved difficult to break down, causing us to lose our structure momentarily. Thankfully, a brilliant strike from Athena put us 1-0 ahead, which lifted the team's spirits.

At halftime, we discussed where we needed to improve, and in the second half, everything started to click. Our passing became more purposeful, and we played some excellent hockey, moving the ball fluidly across the pitch. Ceci, our goalkeeper, was only called into action a few times thanks to a solid defensive performance.

The match was sealed with a well-worked team goal, finished by Florence with a composed tap past the keeper, capping off a fantastic team effort. In the end, we secured a well-earned 4-0 victory. Well done to everyone—an impressive win!
