U9 Rugby v Belhaven
Won 11 - 3
The Cargilfield under 9 boys played their first away match of the season with a solid performance. The boys got off to a flying start as Tobias sprinted down the wing to score the opening try, setting the tone for an energetic afternoon. Soon after, Freddie followed up with an impressive series of dodges and dummy passes, breaking through the opposition’s defence for another well-earned try.
The team maintained a strong defensive line, sticking to their training. Billy stayed determined and made some lovely touches. Dylan scored 3 tries today, one of which came from scooping up a dropped ball from the opposition.
John scored two tries, including a diving try in the corner and another following a quick pass from Freddie. Tommy made many metres for his team with straight running and pulling off exactly what we practiced. Charlie was right in front of the defensive line and made some lovely touches along with Billy who was always ready to stop the other team from scoring.
Cargilfield finished the match with 11 tries to 3. Well done boys!
