U13A Boys’ Hockey v Fettes Prep

Won 5-1

On a chilly but still afternoon, the U13A team started strongly against Fettes in a competitive game played at high tempo. We showed a good skill level and had some good passages of play, passing the ball around and linking with each other well. We put pressure on the Fettes boys when they had possession and we won some good turnovers. The boys playing up front, Theo, Monty, Olly and Hamish all worked hard to get back to help in the midfield and Lachie also ran up and down all game showing good fitness and desire. Edward and Arthur communicated well in defence and broke down a lot of promising Fettes attacks. Jamie made some brilliant saves and kept a lot of positive communication going for his team. Positive start to the season. Well played, boys.
