U13C Boys’ Hockey v Fettes Prep

The U13C team was packed with strong, skillful players, such is the depth of this talented squad of players, and we were more experienced than the Fettes team who were all quite new to Hockey. The Cargilfield boys passed the ball around, looking to move the ball into space, and the crosses into the back post were excellent. Jack started the scoring with a stylish lob of the keeper, and was quickly followed by Bertie who smashed in a strong hit. David, Johnny and Miguel worked hard to keep control of the ball and made some good passes. Ethan showed some silky stick skills and always looked up to pass. Blake ran with pace and showed good dribbling skills. Max was determined throughout and made some great interventions. Jamie, although with little keeping to do, kept encouraging his team, which was great. Well played, boys.
