U11C Netball v Craigclowan

Won 8-1

The girls were very excited for their second match of the season. They had been working hard in training and had made massive improvements to their own skills and also to their work as a team.

We tried some different line ups today with Polly playing as a very safe Centre as well as at GS and Isobel RD showing a lot of promise at WA.

Izzie took the first Centre pass and got us off to a good start sending the ball into the D where Clara quickly scored. What was great to see was that the girls had really learned from their training and avoided the more easily intercepted loopy passes and tried incredibly hard to get in front of their players. Zanna was superb, communicating well and showing impressive court coverage.

On the wings, Mo made quite a few good interceptions and Sophia L and Sophia M tried very hard to get into space to send the ball on.

Towards the end of the match Isabella also took a turn at shooting at did very well. This was a super match and I was very proud of the whole team for their efforts.
