U13B Hockey beat Craigclowan

A terrific team performance!

On a breezy and fresh January day in Perthshire our 2nd’s played a spirited game against Craigclowan. After a brisk warm up, the Cargilfield men started the better with a fabulous passing move finished off by Ethan. More goals followed in the first quarter, with a pleasing regularity, but more impressive was the passing brand of hockey that Mr Pike has been embedding in the Senior Hockey Squad this term.

It was to be a comfortable win for the 2nd Team with some outstanding team goals, alongside moments of brilliance. Oliver slalomed through the defence and chipping the keeper being a memorable highlight on a fantastic afternoon of hockey that bodes well for the season. This team has the ability to be pitched against many teams in Scotland’s “A-Teams” and are pushing our 1st Team all the way in terms of selection.

Well done on a fantastic afternoon of hockey lads!
