Well played, boys!

The U11C team put on an epic performance against a strong George Watson's side in a thrilling encounter. We started on the front foot, taking an early lead through Freddie. However, Watson's capitalised on a defensive lapse just before the first break, levelling the score when we failed to clear our lines. Undeterred, we stuck to our game plan—moving the ball quickly and creating plenty of chances. Unfortunately, we couldn't quite convert, with their keeper pulling off some outstanding saves. Watson's then edged ahead after we lost possession in midfield, leaving Innes with little chance against a powerful strike. But the game was far from over. Showing great determination, we battled back, and Louis finished in style after a moment of brilliance from George, who threaded a precise pass into the circle. The comeback was complete when Freddie calmly slotted the ball past the keeper after a well-placed cross from Arran. James was a rock in defence, making crucial stops to halt Watson's attacks, while Hollynd came close with a few penalty corners, narrowly missing either side of the goal as he aimed for the perfect placement to beat their impressive keeper. Matthew read the game well, playing with his head up and searching for teammates in space, though a bit more strength in his passing will make him even more effective. Overall, this was an exciting match to umpire, and with just a bit more accuracy in front of goal, we could have taken the win. Fantastic effort, boys—well played!
