North Indian Classical Music project

This half term 8D are engaging in a project exploring North Indian Classical Music with the help of musicians from The Sitar Project and Tabla Alba. Over the past two weeks we have been fortunate to have the opportunity to try out the Sitar and Tabla drumming in practical workshops. This has been a really unique opportunity to try out instruments from another part of the world and explore a totally different musical culture. Thank you to Alec Cooper, David Beards and Mike Black for their expert tuition and for the loan and set up of the instrument.
