U9A Rugby lost to Belhaven

A close game, with lots of learnings too

In a very tightly fought contest the Under 9 squad suffered their first defeat of the season against a strong and very mobile Belhaven team. Despite some excellent performances in attack from Daniel, Tommy, Archie & Nick seven tries proved to be not enough to win the game, as Belhaven crossed the line to touch down on ten occasions. Their captain Xander proving to be a fast and elusive runner. Ezra & Ensay both made fine contributions in their first game for the A team as did Miguel but a lack of cohesion from the whole team, in defence, proved to be their downfall. Hopefully with lessons learned we will move on to better things next week.
