U11A Rugby v Craigclowan

The U11A team had a great physical contest today against Craigclowan, who were playing with an unbeaten record to defend, so they were well up for the match. We started with the ball but lost it in a strong tackle and counter-ruck from Craigclowan. They ran hard at our defence and, despite some powerful tackles, opened the scoring with a good try. The match was won with our fitness and speed on the flanks. By working the ball one way, recycling at the ruck before spinning it the other way, we exhausted their valiant mid-field defence and ran in some great tries. Our tackling was good against some aggressive, big runners and our handling was excellent, moving the ball really well.
