I was concerned that after a somewhat lacklustre training session yesterday that the girls might not perform well today. How wrong I was! To a player they stepped up and gave it their A game. We had been working on dodging with Miss HS and used this effectively especially off the centre pass. Anna was terrific in Centre and used her speed and court coverage to intercept and to dodge around the opposition. On the wing, the small but mighty Lottie was fearless in attack. Our shooters, after their initial nerves passed, were very accurate today. Tunrayo, Judith and Esme all shooting well from various positions around the D. Our defence worked very well as a team and dominated the defending third which gave Kilgraston little opportunity to pass in to the circle to shoot. Annika led her team very well with Lucy, Venetia and Maddie jumping high and intercepting in the circle.
