U9A vs Strathallan

An excellent performance from the U9 boys, who have been honing their skills and getting ready for this match for the past couple of weeks. After a slow start, where the Cargilfield men did not use the full width and height of the pitch they began piecing together some bright play to lead at the break.

After a couple of tactical changes to move Jack into the top of the diamond, which allowed Jamie and Miguel more freedom on the wing and centre of midfield. We then started to play some outstanding hockey, distributing the ball nicely and transitioning the ball superbly down the right hand side.

A comfortable 6-0 win and a brilliant team performance. Two players of the match were Miguel and Jack for their vision, ability to find space and stick to their position. Well done!
