U11B Netball beat Ardvreck

A nail biting win!

This week the Girls’ U11B netball team travelled to Crieff to play against the Ardvreck girls. Although one player short, this didn’t stop the girls from winning the match. Starting with a bang, the team played an excellent first quarter, finishing it off with a lead of 7-3 thanks to some great goals scored by Isla and Gabriella. The girls are to be commended for the great skill and teamwork shown throughout the game. Notably, the midcourt players – Emilia, Nancy, and Millie, who demonstrated some great intercepts and good pressure on the opposing players to turn over the ball. By the fourth quarter, the opposition were catching up, trailing by only one point. However, it was Shriyaa’s great defence in the goal circle that helped the girls secure their lead, winning 10-9. Overall, it was a great game, and the girls are to be applauded for their outstanding teamwork
