U11B Hockey beat St Mary's

Well played, boys!

With less than a minute on from the start of the game, the team drilled through the opposition and score. Following this, St. Mary’s came back quickly to score their own mere seconds after. Not content with having a draw, Cargilfield really got their heads in the game, played a fighting game and came out the victorious side. It was a good team match, with lots of passing and movement around the pitch. We tried not to let St. Mary’s two goals phase us and we got stuck straight back in. Great job to Blake and Lochie for all getting their name on the score sheet and especially to Torin, Hamish, Edward for getting hat tricks! Special mentions go to Honour for zooming around the pitch, Torin for great usage of the wings and Max for setting up his teammates for some fantastic assists. Moving forward, our aims are to not lose our heads after we score a goal, to keep this positive energy and fighting play and bring it to next week’s tougher match against Fettes. Brilliant work team!
